Reset Badge should be used at any station (Welcome, FSV, Sleigh, List) when the application is malfunctioning.

Who should use a Reset Badge: Elves, Marketing, Facility team members

Who should not use a Reset Badge: guests/customers


"Malfunctioning" could look like the following:

§ FSV elf guide is frozen in the top left corner 

§ Sleigh interior is no longer showing the kids names and animations

§ List is no longer accepting new badge names


The expected result from using the Reset Badge: The application returns to a normalized state and is ready to accept new scans.

· FSV would return to "Scan here" start screen 

· Sleigh interior begins to see animations return and shows child's name

· List will show badge names again


 

Operational tips: Each Elf staff member should have a reset badge at the ready when on set to quickly troubleshoot. Reset badge is valid day over day. You can re-print at any time by entering [email protected]. (if more than one badge appears, only print the first instance of this badge on the list)
