When you receive a mechanical error, pull off the red wooden cover above the card catch and press the silver button on the printer. This will allow cards to be printed.


If this continues, try these tips:

1. open the printer by the yellow button

2. check the yellow dial and confirm the setting is between 30 & 32.5

3. remove the cards from the printer and tilt them at a slant (breaking the "factory tight pack"), then place them again in the printer (careful to keep correct direction)

4. close the lid and resume

5. Check that the printer is sitting correctly on the wedge, in the horseshoe jig and the mouth aligns with the slot that the card falls out of.  

6. Check that the printer is pressed all the way forward up to the chute opening
